Fast Fact

You can register to vote online or update your registration and still receive a mail-in ballot up to eight days before the election in which you intend to vote. After that, you can register to vote or update your information at a voter service or polling center and vote in-person until 7 p.m. on Election Day when polls close.

CSU students vote

Students can vote in their college towns.

CSU students have a higher voting rate than their peers, with 76.4% of CSU students voting in the 2020 election, well over the national average of 66% of college students who voted across the nation.

In Colorado, all eligible registered voters automatically receive a mail-in ballot, if their registration information is available in time. This gives you the option to vote by mail, in person or by dropping your ballot in a ballot box.
